Students turn subjects they care about into spoken-word pieces, shaping rhythm and voice before choosing whether to perform or record them.

From a topic to words and performance
The group compares spoken word with poetry, rap and lyrics. Students choose a subject, develop concise lines and test them with rhythms or soundscapes.
Performance and recording are voluntary. Students can also contribute through writing, feedback, rhythm or sound.

Can the school suggest a theme?
Yes. The theme can be agreed in advance while students retain control of their own words and expression.
Do students have to read aloud?
No. Performance is voluntary, and students can contribute through writing, rhythm, sound or feedback.
Can the texts be recorded?
Yes, if recording is included. Use and any publication of the recording are agreed separately.
