About Optagonen
From student ideas to finished work — since 2015
Optagonen is a Swedish organisation that brings professional artists and educators into schools. Students develop their own ideas, create together and finish something they can be proud of.
Experience from Swedish schools and municipalities
Since 2015, Optagonen has delivered more than 500 workshops in over 150 Swedish municipalities, including work with schools, libraries, youth centres and municipal cultural projects.
How we plan each workshop
Before each workshop, we agree the group, goal, space, equipment and responsibilities with the school. Then we match the workshop with a leader whose experience fits the creative field and the group.
